Gumball: your personal agent

Gumloop · Essentials · 7 min

Gumball is the fastest way to get value from Gumloop and to see what agents can do with your apps.

Every Gumloop account comes with Gumball, a personal agent created the first time you open it. Only you can see and configure it. It uses your own connectors and can search every skill you have access to.

Built-in features only Gumball has:

  • Daily Chew: a short scheduled report of what you missed across your connected apps.
  • Meeting Prep: a brief before each calendar meeting: who's attending, past context, open questions, talking points.
  • Smart Inbox: labels new Gmail or Outlook mail, moves some out of your inbox, and drafts replies. It never sends them; you stay in control.

It also remembers personal context over time, such as who you work with and how you like things done.

Where you can reach it:

  • The Gumloop web app.
  • Email: write to its fixed address and it replies in the thread.
  • Slack: direct messages to the Gumloop Slack app go to your Gumball.
  • Text messages, on some plans.

Gumball can also build agents for you. Describe what you need ("an agent that answers billing questions in #support using our pricing docs") and it can create the agent, choose a model, add connectors and skills, and set up schedules or webhook triggers. It follows the same permissions as you, and asks for approval when needed.

Use Gumball for your own work; build custom agents when a job should be shared with a team or run in a specific channel.

Remember

  • Gumball is a private, personal agent included with every account
  • Daily Chew, Meeting Prep and Smart Inbox are Gumball-only features
  • Gumball can create and configure custom agents from a conversation
